Every board is crafted by skilled artisans using premium, sustainable materials and a unique hollow-core construction. Craftsmanship and Materials
Skilled artisans meticulously construct each board using premium woods like Western Red Cedar, Basswood, and Paulownia. Each board is layered with fibreglass both on the outer shell and internal components; bonded with epoxy resin, making an extremely durable and waterproof skin.
Skim-style for a Playful Ride
Shore Boards feature a skim-style shape for a playful, responsive ride that stays stable underfoot. The single fin setup makes it easy to spin, slide, and pop off the wave. Recommended for intermediate to advanced wakesurfers, but confident beginners chasing a challenge will love them too.
Environmental Consciousness
Committed to being environmentally conscious throughout their production process Shore Boards sources sustainably harvested woods along with using plant based epoxy resin for finishing. Unlike traditional board building, these boards contain absolutely no foam, contributing to a eco-friendly product.
Low Waste Production
Shore Boards' dedication to sustainability extends to their production methods, minimising waste by repurposing scrap materials. Offcuts from the top and bottom panels are repurposed into logo pieces installed in every board, reducing waste and adding a unique touch to each one.

Why Fibreglass & Epoxy Matter?

Shore Boards are layered with fibreglass and sealed using an epoxy resin system to create an exceptionally durable, waterproof outer shell. A 6 oz fibreglass cloth is used on the outside and a 1.5 oz cloth on the internal skins, providing strength without adding bulk.
Fibreglass is a composite material made from glass fibres and resin. Pound for pound, it’s significantly stronger than steel, making it an ideal reinforcement for wooden boards. Epoxy resin offers even greater strength and durability than traditional polyester resin — resisting wear, cracking, and UV damage far better.
This advanced construction protects the timber core and ensures your board performs reliably over time, even in harsh conditions. It’s one of the reasons Shore Boards are built to last a lifetime.​​​​
